Performance: Has a lot of pull for such a small engine (1.6) but has a lovely growl to it. Brakes feel nice and strong with lots of feel. Handles nicely, lots of grip from the wider tires but ride on these wheels can be crashy.
Build Quality: Good, suprisinly for an Alfa everything works.
Appearence: Looks lovely, especially with the 17" Alloys.
Cost Of Ownership: Very good on petrol and Insurence
Fun Factor: Great fun.Nov 10, 2010

Engine/ Gearbox Perfomance aspect is somewhat lacking despite being manual,
braking and handling is beautiful. Great build quality although typical of euro
designers not leaving
alot of space to work but extreme sound deadening in the car can bearly hear
outside noise. love the appearance of the car but would prefer the facelift
option. relatively cheap to buy, great on economy when driven so. loves e98
octane with a booster but never cheap.
this car is so much fun to drive crack the sunroof and windows to cruise down
the beach or hit up some nice winding roads.Jul 11, 2010

Best car ive ever owned! Love the ride, handling and just the
essence of Alfa. Ok the build quality is a bit hammy and yes
the car has suffered from the dreaded Italian electrics and im
sad to say it has also been a victim of the fabled cam belt
snap which has obviously ended the life of the current engine
:(. But looks are brilliant so much soul in a car, ok one aspect is
a bit like marmite, the front offset number plate you will either
love or hate but what a car!Jun 28, 2009

Handleing is like no other. Looks to die for, And she likes to scream all the way to 7000rpm. Even when shes filthy she turns heads with admiaring glances. Look after an Alfa and it will look after you just as good as a German box.

It's a bag of bolts, not really that quick and the same old things keep going wrong but i just love it. Would never recommend one to a friend but I'd buy another tomorrow.
Just look at it..it's gorgeous!!Jan 05, 2009

Like - everything, even that annoying creak from the dashboard. i'd go out of my way just to drive this car. mileage is great, and performace amazing. very fast for a 2l car especially after 'tweaking' the engine, and it just sticks to the road like superglue, no matter how fast you swerve it around a corner. if i tried to lose control and make the car spin out i couldnt. replacing the stock suspension, brakes and anti roll bars takes it to a whole new level, ive had drivers who have driven m3s tell me mine handles as well or better now. yeah its a front wheel drive compared to the usually preferable rear but i wouldnt touch another brand after my Alfa Romeos, its pure driving fun. Would I recommend it to a friend? id recommend it to anybody!Dec 10, 2008

Only a 1.6 engine but the power and handling really impressed. The car looked great I still haven't come across a 4 door saloon that looks as good. The car never put a foot wrong all the time I had it but servicing costs were large. It did very well for fuel 35MPG+ and for the money it was tons of fun.Sep 09, 2008

Great 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine - sounded fantastic and had sooo much grunt. Best thing was - it wasn't a BM or Audi - had plenty of flair and was a delight to live with for 3 years.
Mind you, £2000 for the 72,000 mile service must have hurt the lease companyJul 25, 2008
