I give this car a overall 4 out of 5 stars based on it's aftermarket support, Exceptional handling platform. Easy to enjoy and well rounded, Only true downside is the car is severely underpowered, While it remained underpowered it was still and excellent driving platform. Nov 17, 2011

Nissan should have never stopped making these cars. They have amazing suspensions that are suitable for several different styles of racing. The aftermarket support for these cars is incredible. In America these cars were underpowered, having only a naturally aspirate 2.4L, but that left room for some amazing power once turbo'd. Not to mention the infinite number of easy engine swaps for instant dominance on the street.Feb 07, 2011

Excellent throttle response, quick acceleration, great top speed (limited at 120 mph by computer from factory), superb handling, great gas mileage, relative low cost of ownership, an absolute blast to drive! Availability of aftermarket parts are abundant making this an absolute dream for enthusiast hoping to get the most out of the car.Sep 18, 2010

This car can do anything. I mean ANYTHING. I can drift, drag, auto-x, etc. The way it looks is just drooling sexy. The way she hugs the floor on turns and such, mmm perfect. The feel of her when i shift through gears.. it's something out of the ordinary. Sep 12, 2009

Its gonna haul ass, it pulls hard and stops on a dime, the quality of the build is top notch, very nice interior and a nice pearl white paint job, gets 30+ mpg when ur not spooin up the turbo. It is sick to drive and no u cannot Aug 27, 2009

I love my car it makes 375hp on 16lbs of boost
It has a molded origin body kit so there are no lines where the side skirt and the rear bumper meet the body

The car is excellent to drive. It needs an SR20DET, but it is fun to drive none the less. It is a beautiful car and it is easy to work on. The mileage is alright, but that is probably a symptom of my right foot more than anything.Jul 10, 2009

Well. My 240 is quite an amazing Car.
Pros-good handling, killer looks, good kids car, lots of torque.
Cons-underpowered, needs maintenance kind of a lot, not that good on gas (or at least not how i drive it). I'm a 240SX lover, though, so none of this phases me. :DFeb 28, 2009

From the factory the stock 240 is pretty weak in power and brakes. with the addition of the j-spec sr20det motor, 4 piston brakes, and stiffer suspension the car is awesome and has been a great car to drive. This is my second s14 240sx and although i love the car, it will be the last 240 i own due to the fact it is getting out dated.Oct 07, 2008

This car handles great, could use more power, but that's easily fixed. I bought it to do autocross and track days, and have been suprised at how much I like it. Honestly, it far more solid than any other low cost Japanese car I've had. 10 years old, 130,000 miles, 3 owners and going strong!
If you're looking for a RWD, read: RIGHT Wheel Drive =), coupe this is a great car. I can't even think of another cheap rear wheel drive sport compact, not any that would be at all practical anyway. Sep 18, 2008

I love this car so much. I would take a bit more power but the handling is very good ! The built quality is almost perfect. Exterior have a unique look that I love. The interior is very nice too. But the LE trim whith the white leather is a lot better ! For the gas mileage, it is not economic but not too bad. I always run it with premium gas. For the fun factor, its the best quality on this car. I do drifting practice on the race track and have a lot of fun with this car !

I bought the caar in 2002 with 83,000 miles on the clock. I was 16 when I got it and safe to say I wasn't kind to it. The car has been abused and put away wet more times than I can count and it's still ticking. It handles like a dream and stops on a dime. My only gripes are that it's an auto (most are), and the factory motor does not live up to the cars image in the slightest. If it only had the 220 horse turbo SR20DET that came in the japanese model it would be pure sex on wheels.Feb 07, 2008

Any good ideas where to find an IAC for my '97 S14?
I'd prefer buying used. If anyone here has an extra to get rid of, let me know. Other than that, what would you do? Kinda limited on funds to buy a new one right now. It's making throttle response extremely sluggish right now and it's pissing me off!
