I’ve checked the fuse, bulbs, and wires under the steering wheel but the brake lights still won’t work. All of the other lights work on the truck

I have a few accident do yes he has a few dents in
em but those might be getting fixed here in near
future atleast I hope so. most of the time i get alot
of compliments on how i nice I have and still do
keep him. and the best part is HIS POWERPLANT IS
A 7.4L 454 BIG BLOCK. The performance is pretty
good given it is all stock and 12 years old, I do have
190,00 miles so some things are getting worn. the
cost to run him is rather expensive to your average
person, this summer to fill up every week was
about 55-60 dollars, at current gas prices of about
2.60 its about 70-80 dollars, not to much
maintenance on em, car wash every week. MY
TRUCK IS FUN TO DRIVE AND PEOPLE MOVE THE

Awesome on fuel :) Can haul anything Not so easy to upgrade to get more power (IDI and not a strong crank), Hardly had to do anything with the engine or drivetrain tho, Shes a beauty :) She has the diesel rumble :thumbup I would definitely recommend this vehicle to my friends (If they can find an older model with the 6.5L :) )Sep 23, 2008

97 GMC K 2500 cranks but no start
The truck was running fine and just stalled out. Now it won't start, it has 58psi fuel pressure and good spark...and it sounds like it wants to start when you crank it over but it just won't catch. The ignition control module tests out fine...this one has got me scratching my head!!!

It's turning over but wont start.
So I replaced the spider assembly on this thing less than a year ago. Been driving it like a dog back and forth from LA to AZ. The side mount battery bolts were stripped out and loose this morning so I replaced them and it started right up. Got in and drove to store, turned it off for a half hour, and it started up fine. Drove about three miles to my next errand. Parked and turned it off. 5 minutes later wouldn't start. Turns over but sounds week. Feel like the battery is getting drained. Coil has spark. Starter is new(changes 2 months ago). Have a 1/2 tank fuel. And now I'm asking for help online as sit in a Taco Bell parking lot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
