have antifreeze in my engine oil. I never had an issue with my truck until the radiator was leaking and replace that and then shortly after the water pump went I replaced that and now this. She runs great still does not blow smoke. Never got or overheated. Why is this happening?
OK, I need serious help. I have a 1996 ram 4x4 5.9 l ext cab 1500. We bought the truck and thee reverse didnt work. Then we looked for a replacement tranny at a junkyard and couldnt find one. From what i understand now a 97, 98 or 99 tranny will fit in the 96 as long as its a 4x4 5.9 liter? I tried to trust a friend of mine who said he could rebuild the transmission. I dished out $400 for rebuilt kit, revere band, tranny fiuld, and paying him. WELL NOW IM IN THE WORST SHAPE POSSIBLE. I thought a first it was fixed. But we took it out several times for test driving and sometimes it wont shift into overdrive getting up to 50 mph. Then sometimes it doesnt move at all. But then other times it will drive. Now, we then proceeded to replace the pressure solenoid and the pressure sensor. Still having problems. Sometimes it will go and sometimes iit wont. I NEED REAL HELP HERE BECAUSE IVE GOT OVER $500-$600 INTO IT AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT !!! PLEASE HELP SOS!!! Tim
I turn the key over and everything comes on, but it won't crank over. It ran fine the night before, then the next morning it doesn't start. I have replaced the following; Neutral Safety Switch Ignition Starter Checked cables
Where is the auxiliary power outlet? There is a 20 amp fuse for the cigar lighter and a 20 amp fuse for a "Power Outlet" in the passenger compartment fuse box. The cigar lighter is of course on the dash next to the ash tray...but where is this "Power Outlet"?
My ignition switch went bad after changing it the fuel pump started staying on when the key was turned off I have to pull the relay to shut down
