i like everything about this car, bought it with 43,000 miles on it. it now has
100,000 miles on it. have never did a tune up and stll runs great! i have
done regular oil changes and other minor maintence. this car has been one of the best

Overall I really like my 96 park ave ultra, the supercharged engine is potent, the 4t60e trans in it is geared very well, takes off very quick, and for top end, it finds 100mph right at 2900rpm's would like to chip it to turn the limiter off at the top out speed of aprox 105 mph, there is still plenty of engine left. its not too hard to work on, Ive replaced the trans, the front end, and brakes,. Cons, right now I am attempting to replace a leaking heater core, i have the dash about 50% removed and am still no closer to removing the core than when I started, but other than that, its a dream to ride in, its a sleeper cops don't usually give me a second look, gets about 21 mpg overall, I think its a pretty good old carNov 20, 2011

i can say overall this automobile is assume. well built ,has had few repairs,is very quiet at any speed.excellent styling inside and out. for a auto this size the gas milage is wonderful. 27 to 30 mpg.
there are alot of good cars out there but only one fine automobile and thats a BUICK.Sep 09, 2009

The Buick Park Avenue is one of the most dependable cars ever, my family has owned many of them and me and my 3 siblings all grew up in one. They are a fairly cheap car to own and definitely do well on the open road. The only problem is that for a teenager, they are not what most people would call cool.Dec 17, 2008

Dynaride makes this a desirably smooth riding vehicle. 3800 V6 never die so these cars usually last forever if taken care of. I bought mine with 200,000 miles on it and she still took me from Los Angeles to Kalamazoo in 35 hours without any incidents. The engine light came on a little north of St. Louis but turned off again after about 100 miles, O2 sensor malfunction but doesn't do anything bad. Runs great, looks fine and rides very luxuriously. My 96" Park Ave will sometimes not start.
My 96' Buick Park Ave. sometimes will not start. The motor turns like it should start but does not. If I wait 20 minutes and then it will start up like there was never a problem. This happens after the car has warmed up already.. I am getting a slew up answers. All different The motor is a 3800 series 2.
