A beautiful version of the 200 series, with nice wheels, sunroof and leather.
However, all the rest is the same...
It's a fast engine but it's goes away fast, too... like in the other Rovers 1394cc i
owned, this engine got serious problems at around 180.000km... it seems that
Rover's engines have a clock inside of it, like a bomb...
This SEi is moved with LPG/GPL and shure is economic!Sep 22, 2010

good on fuel, parts are still easy to get hold of, high reveing engine,
good lines
bad points are that it has a week cylinder head causing the head gaskets to blow, but will be ok if looked after !

i have a rover 220 coupe turbo runnin about 200 bhp its been de catted and drives nice. its got 17's on it and targa tops.. its got full leather, air conditionin, and its for sale £950 if anyones interested, its taxd till end of april and mot'd till octoberMar 23, 2009

Well i got Clara a few months ago ready to be my first car, still got a few more days before i get to drive it properly! She has done just over 100,000 miles but is still in tact :D I love the fact it's convertible.. and it's an electric roof ;). Considering it's 13 years old it's in good nic! I love my car cause its so stealthy!!! It looks like a normal rover coupe as ive taken all the turbo badges off it. It sits just right on lowering kit and now just doing the brake upgrade as standard brakes are crap. Estimated to be running about 250bhp I have beaten honda type rs (all types), focus rs,focus st,fiesta st, subrau imprezas,bmw m3s. In fact prob every car ive raced ive beaten EXCEPT a skyline and and evo. Not bad for a car worth about £1500! Jul 06, 2008

Mine had really fun handling, the 103 bhp 1.4 K series went really well as long as you keep the revs beyong 4500rpm. Elecrical nightmare, had a mind of its own. Must have been wired by Fiat!!!Jun 12, 2008
