The Mazda 323 once again did not see any changes for the model year. Its successor, the Mazda 3, would not appear until 2004.
The 1994 323 was available in one, economical trim level. The engine was a1.6-liter 82-horsepower four-cylinder. A five-speed manual transmission was standard, with a four-speed automatic available as an option. Fuel economy is about 29/37.
Drivers like the 1994 323 because it is affordable and reliable. They don't come with many frills, but most 1994 323 drivers are just fine with that. Some drivers complain that the doors freeze shut in the winter.
Can't seem to get fuel into the injectors. Car fires for 1/2 a sec, then nothing. Checked EFI relay, it's good. Fuel pump relay was bad, replaced. All fuses are fine. Fuel pump is fine. Have not checked fuel pump regulator yet. Does any one no how to test the injectors without the car running? Or has anyone else had this problem.

I just recently bought a 1994 mazda 323 as my all around car and project, when I installed an aftermarket radio i started having problems with the electronics such as the internal lights wont turn on and the rear lights don"t come on when i turn on my headlights, only when i hit the break. The drivers side headlight will not turn on although i could just need a new bulb and the inside light wont turn on and never has since i bought the car a month ago. When i bought the car everything was working fine, but when i went to change out the radio for an after market one i found that the radio wasn't even attached which didn't bother me at the time. When i start the car sometimes it makes this screeching sound like when you start the engine and then turn the key again, i turn the car off and then on again and its gone. I don't know if this is related to my problem but i thought it help in determining the problem.
My 323 won't start now after the terminal sparked briefly because I connected the leads to the battery the wrong way. What do I need to do? Is this just a matter of replacing a fuse? If so which one is likely to be the culprit? It seems completely dead at the moment. Oh dear...
