94 GMC Sonoma fuel issues
I have a 94 GMC Sonoma V6 4.3. We have replaced the fuel pump and filter, new spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor. The truck with crank but not start. I am at a loss

one of my favorite vehicles i've owned. fun, cheap and throws some dual exhaust, interior, and some wheels and you've got a nice little cruiser. watch the frames on those though because they like to rust and rot. The V6 is really torquey so burnouts are almost unavoidable. I'd put money on this... If it could hook off the line, it would probably do a wheel standOct 26, 2011

power is weak. quality seem alright.. its a cavalier with a box. looks alright for a 2wd. good on gas. fun factor is low i hate 2wd gets me from a to b and fits my dirt bike in the backFeb 20, 2011

nice little truck, its a 4x4 and has flowmasters on it. the truck rides good, on the highway, in the mud, where ever it goes, its pretty cheap, not much on fixing it up or anything like that. a sonoma is the right truck to go mudding in!!Mar 29, 2010

like the v-6 vortec, dont like the throttle delay or the fact that its wipers dont work, i have been losing transmission fluid but thats because i go muddin with it a lot, it has little maintenence though, so i dont spend a lot of money on it

its rear wheel drive which makes drifting in the winter awesome. can burn out which is cool. its ultra slow though. the 2.2 L engine is way too small. it gets 30-some miles a gallon on the highway though. it also takes the on-ramp to the highway at 50 miles an hour. it is a little squeely though...Sep 07, 2008

the only brand new car i have ever owned. i drove it off the lot with only 33 miles on it. it was a southern comfort conversion with white on top, three shades of chrysler grayes in the middle and electric blue on the bottom. it had chrome nerf bars, and mag wheels painted to match the blue. the only reason i traded it was i wanted more get up and go!Aug 25, 2008

i had a 4 cylander 5 speed basic truck that had been dropped. 5 paint colors. ground effects, bed nerf bars in chrome bug shield and window shades, color matched mag wheels, it was southern comfort conversion! it had 33 miles on it when i took it home. i could drive from the eastern bypass to the gearga / South carolina line w/out need gas! i just ended up wanted more car and got my pathfinder.Aug 23, 2008

ahah, the second day i got it i took the box off cause it had a broken frame and i drove it with a buddy and we went up to save on with it uninsured and in pieces, the worst ride ever haha. you hit a bump, you shook like a ass. after fuel pump was replaced and frame fixed it was a purple monster from hell with its 4 cyl. ahaha. has rust but still looked awesome. comfy tooMar 01, 2008

Bought the truck used. I wanted a truck for fishing and hunting, and 4x4 because I do a fair amount of ice fishing. I would of preferred a larger truck but I was looking for better gas mileage.Dec 06, 2007

1994 Sonoma SLS wanting V8 swap advice
I have a 1994 Sonoma SLS 4.3 Vortec and a 4L60E tranny. Its a "W" truck with the 200hp v6 and Central Port injection. I have a 1st Gen 350 ready to go in but not sure if I need to change over to Fuel Injection so the computer will work? I recently found out without the computer many things will not work. Anyone with advice on fuel injection or how to adapt my 4 barrel carb to work with the computer?

Battery guage is pointing cl9se to 9
Battery light came on while idling at a train crossing. Guage registers close to 9 but not quite in the red. About a week ago, the battery drug (acted as if it were dead) when trying to start it. It eventually started without a jump. Is this a battery issue, or alternator?

1994 gmc sonomano power to fuel relay or injectors
i have tested the relay and its good, but no power to the block where it plugs in and no power to the TBI injectors. replaced fuel pump, ignition switch, and ecm but still no power, it has spark from coil to distributor and to the plugs, will crank up if gas is squirted into the TBI but will backfire.

Ok guys and gals, please have pity... lol I am 53 yr old female... The vehicle is a 1994 GMC Sonoma SLS 4.3 Auto transmission. 1. The truck was running great until the heater core went bad. 2. I took the dash out etc... replaced the heater core. 3. Truck wouldn't start... checked fuses and all that sort of stuff all good. 4. Then checked cluster plug and it was kinda damaged. I fixed the wires on that. Truck then started great and ran great but wouldn't change gears on highway, speedo wasn't working. 5. So then ordered new cluster panel, as I thought I messed it up, but speedo still doesn't work....still wont change gears, NOW power windows don't work. Everything worked great on the truck before all the crap was taken out to replace the heater core. What could be the problem???? I am so sick to my stomach fooling around with this thing. The truck has no rust and is in excellent condition inside and out. Motor sounds great.... Yes have thought about the sensor located on/in transmission, but how could it be bad it everything worked before? I need help.... please... lol
