Great handling/steering, and a lot of power from the 2.0 litre engine. I've lowered it so the grip is better than normal, also added a trim-exhaust and a trim-chip. Great, but the transmission has started to fail. Have I not reached fourty words?Sep 20, 2009

Only repairs after my little trip in the ditch. Front and rear bumper were damaged and the canals at the side. Doesn't look good right now but it'll be better when i get more money. Then it'll be all white and black, and i'm thinkin' about havin a motive on the hood, a spoiler at the back, and maybe change the bumpers. Jun 04, 2009

Ford! The only real Gangster-car on the world, good car, was cheap, i can fix a lot by my one, less weight 1200, 115hp, performs well on the street, good handling at all speeds, good comfort, nice to look at!Mar 06, 2009

My Ford mondeo was my pride and joy but due to wear and tear of the first gen zetec engines they was a few niggles with this. But bear that in mind when you start driving this car you know you are in for a safe drive. I had the 1.8 which it had a nice 115 bhp under the bonnet nice performance not to fast and very ecocmonical at 48 mpg I cant complain. The gearbox aswell has very smooth gears that slot in nice and easy. So with that in mind i would recommend anyone wanting a eco friendliy car wich is a pleasure to drive the ford Brand wins again.Aug 19, 2008

A good all round family car, does what you need it too but parts can be pricey, although owned for 3 years with nothing really major going wrong that you would not expect of a car of this age. Handling is good and seating is comfortable and supportive. Shame about the bumpers which are easily damagedJul 31, 2008

I don't hate my car just wish it wouldn't stall everytime you stop and that it wasn't so old. Otherwise I like my car. I've had it now for nearly 8yrs and it's still going not looking forward to MOT this year as last year she cost me £500 to get back on the road. Hefully this year it won't be to much.

Not a bad car, but the age is starting to show...
I have the "RS" version. That's the "sporty" - non grandfather - one.
I think it looks a lot better than the regular one.
It has "sporty" rims, wider tires and a sports suspension.
The RS version featured front fog lightsApr 23, 2008

It's Ford, and it's as reliable as a Ford. Good value for money and cheap to run. Nothing more to say really.Mar 22, 2008

Bought it cheap. At the end only one brake was working, ABS was gone, bearings worn (wheels, motor,...), fuelpump failed, weak electricity,.... But it served it's needs.Mar 18, 2008
