Performance - sounded mint to put your foot down with the carbs :D
Build qualtiy - was mint until it cracked around the o/s turret under strain.
Appearance - re-sprayed, slabs, gsi trim was a head turner.
Cost of Ownership - 4 R1 carbs was 4 buckets to your cylinders to fuel :S harsh lol but worth it.
Fun Factor - i dont know why i swapped it :'(Sep 17, 2009

i love it <3
and it was bare cheep
its a 1.2 so its quite nippy for a little car
and it will look sick wen its slamed 60mm
just perfect for townie laps =]

I Think there brilliant little cars. There built to last and if you look after them properly, will go on for years. Performance aint too bad, with the SRi good for about 120mph, I had the 1.2i Luxe Plus so it only had a top end of 115mph, but the handling is great and braking is quite good as well. Appearance aint too bad but u can change that with a few after market parts.
These little things cost hardly anything to run so they are good when it comes to cost of ownership.

must remove that front bumper as i have a gsi one ready to go on. i have also got to weld the boot floor snd strut top. after that a respray is in order and then i have a finished nova. having the interior re uphulstored in blue and white leather. should be nice.
have quite a bit to do as i have only just bought the car but cant wait for it all to be done.Sep 09, 2008

I brought a nova gsi in silver for £200 when i got it home it was rotten the rear arches were shot the inner wings were knackered and it had no carpet or seats. I got the little nova to do up as a project but in the end i was unable to carry out the work that was needed and i sold it to a mate. then it was stripped of its body kit and alloys and the engine and the shell was scrapped.The engine is now in a corsa after havin the head gasket replaced.I love the looks of the nova gsi . Very Agile and responsive for what it was, had funny handling and was very reliable and topped out at 108 mph which is faster than a standard mini metro and the nova has a smaller engine (Nova 993cc/Mini 997cc)Dec 14, 2007
