If you want ultimate fun ,off the road this is the vehicle to have. This and the Nissan patrol are almost simmiler in mud terrain in my experience,
Pros:
good on fuel, very good off roader, very hardy
cons:-
quit uncomfortable for the rear passenger on the long run bec lack off leg space and stiff seats and blades as suspensionMar 04, 2010

its an orange Hilux, 2 inch lowering blocks on the front and 2.5 inch blocks on the back. it has a tub tray and chrome everywhere :):):). 16 inch alloys at the moment should be getting 18's soon, hopefully. but who knows?Oct 30, 2009

not the fastest, certainly not the most comfortable, but one of the coolest motors on the planet,,but she does at least 30 mpg, without camper, and always gets you home,,and not on the back of a breakdown truckSep 03, 2009

performance for a 4x4 is good, its Japanese so build quality is solid, reasonable appearance both interior and exterior, cost is a bit low compared for 19yrs of service, fun factor is excellent for a 4x4 and plenty of modifications around to make it worthy off roadAug 13, 2009

very very strong and can go any wear. the 1992 model has a solid front axle making it a good off road. it is easy to work on and can be heavily modified. parts are easy to fine and offroad kits are available.
