Fuel gauge not working
I have a 1992 Plymouth Acclaim that shifts great until it is warmed up all the way. Then it shifts fine until 2nd to 3rd. It will hang in 2nd until you let off the gas. Filter and Fluid have been changed and the fluid level is correct. It is a 2.5 Liter with a 3 speed auto.
The car has less than 90,000 original miles, when driving at any speed the car acts like it's going to run out if gas hesitates and all. If I push the pedal to the floor it picks up and goes. There is no check engine light and no smoke. Sometimes I can turn the car off for a few minutes then start it back up and it will run fine all day.
about two months ago ws driving about 5 mins and the car shut down, we put gas in. No Go changed the fuel filter tried the fuel pump relay changed fuel pump even the Gas tank today changed the pressure regulator.. some suggested the the shut off switch....BUT WHERE IS IT AND HOW DO I TURN IT BACK ON
