Anyone had any luck finding the serpentine belt "tensioner" for a Storm GSI 1.8lt DOHC????
My belt tensioner is off tracking badly and needs to be replaced. None of the local parts stores (not even Chevy dealer) can get one.

Fun first car! It was quick and very fun to drive. It was also very good on
gas. The suspension tended to feel very soft but it still handled well.

Better handling than my last one(had better suspension, and a strut bar). Even more modded so it had a even more power, again combine with it's light weight it could fly(almost)! Better then my other one in every way but MPG in the high 20's.Oct 07, 2011

fairly descent for it age. Needs few more things to be up to factory. Fun car to drive. Cost me only 100 bucks so cant complain how it drives. Had one in high school and thought i would buy another.Jun 15, 2010

definitely not the fastest car out there. it's only got 1.6 liters of fury, but it handles better than most high price vehicles out there. i tried to kill it once by driving the hell out of it but it lived just to spite me. i still drive it on occasion, it's great on gas mileage and fun on the back roadsJul 11, 2009

This car is great. i havent driven it THAT MUCH considering i have no money for insurence and i dont have my N yet, the car has great acceleration (though, being standard its got its limits) breaking is good. newly replaced and it has a homemade short ram air intake. the car has a nice cheap but sturdy and sexy spoiler with limited ammounts of rust which is easily fixed. i just purchased a great steering wheel which was 109.99 at canadian tire, and a set of seat covers which i plan to bind to the seats instead of replacing the seats.Aug 28, 2008

not the most attractive car, but it's gets great mileage, has enough power in the 1.6L SOHC to get up and go, but the 1.8L DOHC is a much more powerfull engine... no options... no A/T/C, 5 speed manual, blew a timing belt Dec 07, towed it home, and now just looking for time to put the engine back together...Aug 12, 2008

Fantastic gas milage, about 36 MPG. The one I had unfortunatly did not have any A/C and it had been in a couple of wrecks and was falling apart. If I had one in good working condition I wouldn't trade it for anything. Only problem is that it didn't have a whole lot of room.Jul 23, 2008

What is the driving range for a Geo Storm Coupe Hatchback? I can't find any info on that part and I really want to make sure I get something that has some life still in it!!!
