ac belt keeps breaking
I have a 92 spirit 3.0 that keeps breaking the ac belt. I replace it and watch it run, and everything looks fine but it breaks within a couple of days

the only things wrong with this car was first the interest rate at the bank was way to high, 10.9 % at cibc should be spanked for that, I mean esp when most people were paying 3.6% and your only justification was I didn't have a credit rating. And yet I am canadian born 4 generation. And immigrants just off the boat were getting 2.5% go figure... the other thing was who was the dumb ass who put the circut breaker for the heater and radio inside the tranny? because i'd really like to put my boot on his butt. other then that it was a good car.

this is by far the best car I have ever owned it is fast it is quality built the fun factor is high the cost of ownership is very low gas mileage is the best as far as the appearance it is ugly.Nov 22, 2009

well the performance of my car is really crappy cuz the accleration sucks!! The handling is ok and the breaks are good. the quality of the car is good all i had to do to it is minor repairs. The appearence of my car is awsome cuz its got a custom paint job by my self and a friend, also the interior is in good condition. the cost of ownership is low because it gets good gas milage and the maintance is low my car is really fun to drive on dirt roads because the back end is soo light that it slides around corners perfects Oct 25, 2009

Performance - Nice acceleration response, about the braking issue the brakes use to heat in long down hills.
Build quality - i had to repair the hidraulics of the steering system
Apperence - i like the exterior line it's very 90's car style, about the interior, it has just what a car needs, the dashboard instrumental finishin. very confortable for the people on the back seats.

i love it. it is strong which is good because i have kids. it fits 6 of us and for the year the gas mileage is good. the trunk space is great for a stroller plus groceries. i am happy wit it.Mar 19, 2009

radio wiring & fog lamp relay location
I recently purchased a used 1992 Dodge Spirit 4D 6Cyl. A different radio was installed and there was no manual for it. I don't have the "Sound System Manual" that the Owner's Manual mentions under the radio section. Any wiring information for the radio would be greatly appreciated. I also have noticed that the fog lights will not work. The fuse is good and the bulb itself turns on when connected directly to the battery. The green LED light turns on when the fog lamp switch is turned on. There is mention of a fog lamp relay, but I have no idea which one it is in the engine compartment. Can you help? I have a Hayne's Manual and it doesn't cover either of these topics. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
