The 2L N.A. diesel has never been design for racing but it's still a good engine.
It's felt less full of torque than comparable Toyota engine, the Primera engine enjoys more revings.
Quality was quite good for a car from the early 90's, just had to change the alternator and gave up on trying to open the truck from inside the car (broken cable)
The four door was much better looking but not available in diesel...
Good mileage (7L/100km) although it might looks a poor number this is a real life number and I never got easy on the gas pedal (too much speeding tickets can prove it)
Due the original family sedan setup and more than 140000km when I got it, the handling wasn't up to spirited driving. But it however let me enjoys sporty driving under any conditions.Sep 19, 2010

cheap motor all gone now though :( rust everywhere, dont get one unless you like rust, although not baf on performance, nothing really gone wrong engine wise, easy to maintain and service. dont know what else to write so might aswell stopDec 15, 2009

it ok needs some work though
it can be fun to drive
it has a sr20 in it
bad point is it's frount wheel drive so motor round wrong
way.
parts are real easy find mine needs a cv joint done usually
u cringe wif dat but we found cv joints 4 sale for 50$ so it

It was my first sport car and I loved to drive it. Sorry that I need a bigger car so I must change to another one. And it had started to come erosion too and that costs to fix unfurtinally. But I have good memories and I'm glad to owned such a car.
