How do i open locked trunk? Trunk key entry is broke
Trunk locked on 91 500sl...key button in rear is not working...broke out tail light to get to the lock attachment but dont kno what to do now

My Mercedes Benz sl500 drivers good when it’s cold but when it heat ups and I’m driving it will start putting then it will cut off I start it right back up put it in drive and get up about 3000 rpm’s and it putt again then shut offMar 30, 2023

Storing the hard top is very difficult take two people to remove or manual/electric ceiling wrench. once the top hard top is off the all within eye sight is envious off the sl500 driver. Just love the car i am looking forward to upgrade to a 2003 sl500 model at bonus time Jul 10, 2011

I beautiful drive. Comfort, performance. 18 years old, you would never guess it. Great gas mileage, 25 mpg in the city..... Everything works, paint, interior is still awesome. I don't want to jinks it, but what a car! no way you could guess its age.Sep 20, 2009

The status is there. Low maintenance. Performance is only average. Fun car to drive as it is a cabrio. Should look for one now,it will be an collector's item eventually. When I am driving this SL, hot babes will notice.Jul 11, 2009

I had perferct a/c on my 91 500sl mercedes Because less than 8k miles ago the whole system was completely gone through.Drove car the fan belt broke.Got this fixed and now no A/C.? Help!
I had perfect a/c on my 91 500sl Mercedes Because less than 8k miles ago the whole system was completely gone through.Drove car the fan belt broke.Got this fixed and now no A/C.? Help! What could cause the A/C to go out when the fan belt broke. Had fan belt, tensioner and smog pump replaced. Drove it back from mechanic and noticed the was no A/C. The belt was still lying there and it was verified later that it did not "hit" anything that involved the A/C. The a/c and the smog pump are on two different sides of the engine. Could a relay or other controller go out to cause this situation? Any ideas would be helpful. My mechanic has no idea why a broken belt would effect the A/C. Do you know why? Thanks for ANY suggestions.
