Lashings of classic Daimler/Jaguar style! Just driving it gave a great sense of occasion, it was luxurious with Ivory (white/cream) leather piped black, shiny black exterior, chrome everywhere, and walnut (including walnut picnic tables in the back!) everything i love about british cars really! Picture a beautiful summers day, sunshine roof open, shades on, pulling up outside a country pub, and having a glass of pimms! Thats what they were meant for (Total dreamer!)Jan 11, 2009

Facebook doesn't seem to have a catagory for a 1981 XJ6 so I used 1991. My car was actually a 1981 XJ6 Series III Diamante. It was the most awesome car for a road trip or freeway driving yet it hung out with the muscle car gang and did okay there too. Smooth, smooth. I was able to use Dodge parts to fix the brakes but it was rather expensive doing engine work. Fortunately I just had some injector problems and a slipping transmission towards the end. It was a great looking car and I wouldn't mind having one again.Aug 27, 2008
