This is the vintage old style body with the Cummins Engine. I love these old trucks. I have had two in my lifetime so far. They will run forever, they just are not as comfortable as a new truck. I will always like these trucks.Apr 10, 2013

This is a 1991 Dodge Ram 250. It is used as a farm truck and does stuff such as
plow snow, carry hay bales, pull heavy equipment, and other things that require a
heavy, solid truck. It is extremely reliable and you can count on hearing a roar

performance is surprisingly good, it had a cummins 2500 turbo diesel and accelleration was excellent (it was a manual/stick shift rather than an automatic), braking was not exceptional, and handling, like all american cars, was very vague. Build quality was below average, with plenty of squeaks and rattles, appearance utilitarian but ruggedly pleasing even if not a stunner. On the fun factor scale it wasn't amazing but neither was it boring, it was relatively enjoyable to drive and I did have a certain amount of affection for the old lump, I'd have another one for sure.Jan 10, 2010

I own a 1991 Dodge with a 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel motor and a 5
speed tranny. It looks half descent but once you hear the motor roar

rev limiter
so this is a project of mine and when i got it it did not run. fast forward to today and the truck is running idles good and then when i open the throttle it revs up till i get to about quarter throttle and then it surges no matter how much more the throttle is opened. once i come back to 1/4 throttle it smooths back out i have watched the injectors (brand new) as the surging occurs and they have a good spray right up untill the surging starts then they just intermittently spray like its trying to lean out the mix when it should be adding more fuel. i have pulled all codes and repaired/ replaced any and all sensors fuel pump/filter all relays and the injectors as noted above im reaching my wits end and struggling to find the why to this issue any advice is appriceated thanks

Power Steering doesn't work on my 1991 Dodge W250 Cummins Truck
I have a 1991 Dodge W250 with the Cummins Diesel Engine. My problem is the power steering. It has never worked for several years. The previous owner said it had a leak so he replaced the Power Steering pump, the gearbox and both lines. But there is still no power assist. The reservoir is full and there is no air in the system as far as I can tell (No foaming). When I have the front of the truck jacked up, turning the wheels lock to lock it will blow fluid out of the reservoir and actually turn the cap. Not sure what the problem is. Everything is new. Maybe there is a faulty part? Bad pump?
