about to buy a pair of alfas both 91 164s models and the good one has a pooched engine and the other one has a good engine but the electrical is no good! (fire in the trunk) anybody have any tips before i start this project?

I liked the 164, I think it is priced too high but I am sure there is wiggle room. I have owned several Alfas, so I am familiar with repairs and maintenance.Nov 08, 2020

Fantastic styling and uniqueness of this model in North America makes heads turn all the time. Must love Italian cars or else you will underestimate its value.
My 70+year old mother, who does not know much about cars, STILL claims this car is absolutely fantastic to drive and loves taking it to this day for a spin. This in itself, holds significance beyond any other. Aug 07, 2012

work in progress got the car with a blown engine ( bent valves ) and swapped the
engine from another 164s, one day i'm going to turbo it and repaint it but for now

It has no cup holders and it's not made for those who do not eat or drink in their cars. it has standard windshield wipers included at no extra cost, and unlike many BMW's, even the very latest models, the turn indicator works.May 09, 2010
