I'm trying to find a good, cheap, first car? Found one for $775 that's in decent shape.

great low priced high performance car easy to mod, and easy to maintain, zips around town with ease, great on gas as long as not boosting alot, waiting for new suspension and brakes then she will be read for the track for testing !!!Jun 13, 2014

Performance- Acceleration, handling, braking
Build Quality- need a lot of repairs, doesn't squeak
Apperance-interior is nice, in good condition, exterior needs painted
Cost of Ownership-about 20-27 mpg, maintenance-depends how you drive

This car is fun to drive. It does get some good gas mileage. This car is fast. Get ready to do some major overhauling. Not much maintenance. Yes, it's fun to drive. It's got good room for subs in the back.Jul 11, 2009

It was a reliable car. I believe in the time I owned the car I replaced the radiator, alternator, driveaxle....I think thats it. It was a blast to drive, but the back seat was a little small, I think mainly intended for children, But it was a fairly fast car even without the turbo.Dec 17, 2008

It had some pick-up in it once the turbo spooled. it was light. beat a tsi, a mustang v8 and v6, and kept up with my buddies sti. thats it.................................................................

You could drive this car forever. It never had any problems and would take a total beating and still be beautiful. I kept it really clean and maintained though. It had about 220,000 miles on it when I finally SOLD it for $1000!!!Mar 17, 2008

Quick car...ran 13.95 @ 110mph 1/4 mile @ 13psi. Fwd won't catch traction until 3rd gear. Reaches speeds of 150+ mph. Handles likes it's on rails. Only runs on 93 octane or higher.Mar 16, 2008
