Hi. There is a metal hose in the car's cooling system.It is located close to the engine and it is connected to other four rubber hoses.(see attached photo).This metal hose is originally coated with a black color paint.I would like to know what is the maximum temperature that this black coated paint can resist?Thanks.
The green coolant/antifreeze in the car was clean and clear. But while i was connecting new hose coupler(attached photo)between two cooling hoses(in order to build a shape of hose that i didn't find in the stores)i was creating some rubber particles in the hoses(that was made from the pushing action of the hose coupler into the hoses). I forgot to wash the final made hose and i connected it back to the car,but while i added fresh anti freeze i saw some rubber particles in the expansion tank and now they are flowing in the cooling system. My question:May these rubber particles in the cooling system be a problem? The coolant is new and all the system was clean.There are only those rubber particles that made by me,since i forgot to wash the inside of the hose before connecting them back. And i really would like to avoid making flush to the system just because of that(as i mentioned,the coolant was new and clear before)if it may not be an issue. Thanks in advance.
The car has double master cylinder system and its is diagonal brake system.front right+rear left,front left+rear right.on the front -disk brakes and on the rear-drum brakes.i have question that related to the emptying of the brake fluid before adding new fluid.1)i begin(beginning with the front wheel as the manual said) to empty the old brake fluid with an assistant that push and release the brake pedal while i open and close the bleed nut until there is a moment,that the fluid stop to get out(in the resevoir,you can see,that one part of it is empty).after that i do the same to the other front wheel,till the fluid stop get out and the resevoir got empty.(as i said,it is diagonal system)at this moment,is it mean that all the old brake fluid that was in the system included all the lines to the all wheels from the master cylinder gotout completely?is it mean that emptying the fluid at one front wheel,also take out the fluid from the diagonal rear wheel line?(because when i continue to the rear wheels,it seems that no more fluid got out.)or the lines,after the master cylinder,are still have brake fluid,only that the master cylinder can't push the fluid out(maybe air that been compressed?) because the resevoir is empty?and is it only make me think that all the fluid got out?Please,I do not look for advise how to make the bleeding or how to proceed .i would like,only, to get answer to those specific questions that i asked.thank in advance
while i used the method of two person to empty the system.(one push and release the brake pedal and the other open and close the nipple nut). IF the resevoir is empty and there is left brake fluid only in the master cylinder chambers and in the pipes that located between the master cylinder and the wheels and my assistant keep on pumping the brake pedal,will all the brake fluid get out or from this point(the moment that the resevoir is empty)the brake pedal action will not get out the rest of the brake fluid unless we refill the resevoir? thank in advance.
Hello. I have manual window regulator, and I would like to know if can i use lithium complex grease(mineral oil base) the one that uses for wheel bearing(NLGI 2/ALL PURPOSE GREASE)to lubricate the gears of the regulator? There is a metal drive gear and a round it,there is a plastic driven gear,which the cables,also,wound on it. Some people said to me that i can use that lithium complex(oil based)grease,because the plastic gear work fine with mineral gear,but i,also,read that people recommended to use silicon grease,white grease.What do you recommend? By the way,i can add that i see a leftover light yellow grease on the gears and at other regulator gear(the same type)a light red leftover grease. Thank in advance. Or I need special grease for that?
