AX GT was a little pocket rocket, weighing only 750kg's it handled like it was on rails & flew up to 70mph. Unfortunately it was badly build, rattles & squeaks.. dash moved a lot, petrol guage wasnt trust worthy. Lots of problems with suspension, didnt handle tuning well 30bhp extra & ball joints kept failing etc, converted it to GTi suspension. Panels were so thin they got easily dented. Good fun to drive, not that fun maintain. Think they are all dead from rust now.Sep 27, 2009

So tempting to get another one.
Only thing stopping me is when I owned this I was a teenager. Chance are that if I was to jump in to one of these now I would not like it.
Best to leave it as the car I loved rather than a car that fills me with disappointment.
However memory says that this car is a little rocket and although only a 1.4L it could easliy out accelerate more powerfull cars as it only weighs about 800-850 kilos.
It's defijnately fun to drive and when fitted with an induction kit gives a very addictive induction roar!.May 27, 2009
