Great little car, handles great, fun to drive and super quick. I had one in the 80's and had to have another one. They are a bit pricey to fix. It is hard to find one in excellent condition that hasn't been beat to death but they are out there. I found one after looking for a long time. I had to travel out of state to get it but they are out there. I would say if you can get one that isn't going to be a money pit, buy it! They are a blast to drive. Oh yeah, they are like a tank in the snow. Since the weight is over the back tires, this car drives through the deep snow with no problems! Living in Utah, that is a plus!Aug 01, 2013

This car is a real head turner. Its got a custom made front bumper designed as compensation for no spoiler. Its painted Millennium Corvette Yellow. The interior is all original with an all professional audio upgrade with a 10" sub where the center console was. It has LED show lights on the inside also.Aug 06, 2012

I realy like this fiero. The GT fastback style is a very sporty look. I also like that i very rarely see another one on the road or even sitting in someone yard. They are a rare car and a challenge. And for a sports car what more do you need for a reason to own one.Mar 08, 2012

It's a manual, nuff said about acceleration. braking and handling is a dream. it has needed a few repairs but thats mostly just from old age. the car looks and feels great. the only down side is that when they did the paint. they didn't do it properly so my paint is chipping badly. whether it's just mine or not i'm not sure. it's pretty good on gas and you can usually find a fiero for around three grand. over all the car is fun to drive and worth the work for the partsOct 06, 2010

I love this car despite its meager 98 hp. It is light, very basic (no a/c, power windows, or power steering) and has been extremely reliable. This car has been a lot of fun to drive. It gets great gas mileage (as much as 37 mpg highway). I've driven it to the Tail of the Dragon and multiple cross country trips. And, it serves as my faithful daily commuter car (84 miles/day). A little temperamental, not unlike myself. I have owned this car since 1989. Stock everything, including paint. Suede and leather seating, not many made. Great performance, still looks like new, fiberglass is key here. A great summer car, especially sweet.Feb 21, 2010

My first true sports car. 5 speed v6 mid engine rear wheel drive. a little fatser than the other 2 but a whole lot nicer and better handling. very rare only 15,968 GT's made in '87 and less than half were manual. unlike those dime a dozen mustangs. i mean who really wants one of those POS cars anyhow. my car may not be as fast but i would rather have it over a mustang hands down. When I got the car in the mid 90's it was kinda rare. I remember people constantly asking me "you're still alive" when I told them what I drove. The thing is the problems the car is known for are people being idiots and not taking care of the car. I really did love the car and was sorry to lose it.May 14, 2009

A neat little idea Pontiac had but GM heavily employed The Corvette Law and cut it down to an underpowered sidenote of the 80's. Fast forward 20 years and it can beat out just about any new production car if you build them right.Jun 24, 2008

One of the more rare sports cars in existence. My dad owns one and it is a great drive. The interior is really great and gives a ride that rivals a Ferrari of the same year.May 08, 2008

This car with the optional 5-speed is awesome!!! Low on horsepower but the mix of a mid-engine, low/ aggresive stance, and handling make it a winner. By this time the exploding problem was taken care of.Mar 25, 2008

Too much rust repair required to safety it, so I parted it out for my current fiero. Great looking car, Great Power, Bad Brakes. If You can find one that hasn't been driven for 22 winters than It'll impress you. The fact that the only cars I've ever owned are fieros shows how great they are.Mar 25, 2008
