4 cylinders gives pretty good gas mileage, but isn't very beefy. Being small makes it real light, but I just have a thing for bigger trucks. When I bought it the head was blown, so I replaced that and the motor seems to run fine. But now the column switch appears to be broken so my lights won't turn off. I'm trying to rig up a toggle to avoid the $250 light switch.Jun 11, 2009

87 Dodge ram 50 or mighty max
My husband is in the process of restoring the truck. We replaced the carb brakes and belts and fuel pump. It has a 2.0 l motar manual transmission. We've done all this but here's the prob . We've closed almost all vac line that didn't fit on our Weber carb . So when he come to a complete stop it'll cut off. Does anyone the prob I need to fix?
