I have a 1986 GMC c1500 350 small block and I replaced the spark plugs and wires bc they were old it ran great before I replaced them. After i replaced them it started misfiring through the carb and turns over but wont start just misfires. It did start initially but I noticed the wires were not in the correct firing order so I changed them to the correct firing order now it turns over and wont start just misfires.
I adjusted the timing based off of cylinder number one being on top dead center. I inspected the distributor gear it was ok. New spark plugs new spark plug wires new fuel filter new distributor cap and rotor.
