Fun car to own and drive for a high school or college kid, but very impractical. I sold this car over 10 years ago and don't believe I could ever recomend that anyone buy it for any reason than some kind of collector due to the limited production and difficultly finding parts. Service and parts were always had to find and expensive compared to my friends domestic cars.Feb 27, 2013

Good acceleration. Noce sound of the five piston engine.
Overall decent build quality despite of the rockhard 80s plastic.
Rough appearance and edgy 80s design. A bit aged when it comes to interior
though but a nice red instrument lighting.
Gas mileage is manageable, not a savings bank mind you. After all its quite a big
engine in a rather small car.
Maintenance-did most of it by myself. Oil and filter exchange. Spark plugs and
minor bodyworks also.
It´s a very fun car to drive although girls in general are not very attracted to
the car on the same rate as young boys with a rudimentary interrest in cars
tend to be. Apr 04, 2011

What can i say... if it weren't for these cars combining
Quattro and turbochargers for group b rally racing there
would probably be no such thing as an Sti, Evo, Etc...
mine is non- turbo, front wheel drive, 5 cylinder 5 speed but
for an '86 im impressed it handles EPIC.... its 24 years old
with 100k miles, hard to find parts, and im scared of stupid
drivers hitting it...Oct 29, 2009

Along with my 1987 Audi 80 Sport, this is another car that I wish I had kept. The original (modern day) Coupe had the appearence of the more expensive (and rally winning) Quattros, which added to their appeal. I now own one of the last of these to be made, which is to be restored during 2009.Jan 03, 2009

Excellent handeling, even on corners. A little bit of a large car, not wonderful for parking. Excellent proformance, quick pull away. Expensive upkeep...not get into accidents with it! Lovely car to drive. Spacious car! And comfortable for passengers. Haven't found a car quite like it! Driving time is too little!Nov 29, 2008

Basically My Audi aka Jew Beast is a babe magnet even though the engine makes some strange noises. It performs excellent on long distantance excursions. The car itself is in excellent condition considering the age. Also when you purchase from a private seller you are able to save a few dollars. Considerally all the aspects of owning an older foreign vehicle I would recommend all my friends and family to give it a try Jun 29, 2008

I never was satisfied with this car because the engine got busted after the car had been in my possession for only a week. I replaced it but never regained confidence. Jan 06, 2008
