What a classic! One of my favourite cars of all time, only a Jag drove better in my opinion!
I had a 2.6 Vanden Plas which was absolutely gorgeous inside, it was like driving a gentlemans club around!
It was also fairly quick for a big automatic, and did over 30mpg on the motorway at 80+ mph!

Purchased on febuary 29th 2000, from a local car auctions. It's actually 1985 Rover SD1 2000 not a 1985 Rover 3500. Spent a bit of money on it over the last 8 years, but belive me it's been worth it. In 2002 and 2004 she won best in her class at a local show, and in 2003 and 2005 it has been a TV star. love it to bits!!!Jan 01, 2008
