I purchased my '85 Laser for $300 in the Spring of 1993. It last me ten days before the tranny blew out on the manual transmission. I towed it home and sold it for $500 in less then a week. It was fun for the few days I had it but since the hatch slopes down in the back so low I couldn't seat all of my friends with ease which for some of the guy's that was good since they had girl's laying across their laps.Jul 01, 2012

I love this car. It's my pride and joy. I bought it new 6/21/1985. Foolishly traded it in 6/13/1990 for a new 1989 Daytona Shelby w/ t-tops. I tracked my Laser down in August of 1990, found it in Nebraska and bought it back. Sep 20, 2010

Its almost 25 years old, and has over a quarter million miles on it. The car itself wasn't made to be fast, but more for looks. It gets decent gas mileage, and is actually a pretty fun car to drive really! Yeah it rattles and is slow for speed, but people look at you because you have a rare car.Dec 06, 2009
