Where do I start? The worst thing Chevrolet ever did. The 2.8 motor was gutless, the heater core exploded, the oil leaked out of every seal you can imagine, and the rear hatch broke. It had no performance, everythignin the interior rattled and squeaked, the headliner fabric was typical GM style, horrible fuel mileage, and parts are very expensive. That car cost me so much money. It may be a boxy '80s SUV, but it is an awesome platform to do major work with. Easy to lower. Easy to swap engines. Easy to find parts.
I know it's not for everyone, but it has become my dream truck. Especially with the plans I have in store for it.
Interior is well put together, considering the year it is. Exterior is a box, but one of the sportiest boxes you will ever see.
Stock Engines leave much to be desired, but are easily changed over to V8's. Stock front sway bars definitely help with the cornering, ut could be bigger.
All around, a not bad '80s SUV. Then again, it's the ONLY '80s SUV.Apr 13, 2008

My 1985 chevy s10 is clicking really loud and seems to be coming from the front part of the motor. It’s really bad when the idle is high or when I give it gas. It’s really annoying and it just barely lost oil pressure when the clicking got really bad
