Doesnt go fast off of start and doesnt like hills but it turns heads. Bad turning radius but drives very good. I feel safe being in a big steel truck and If it was mine to keep i would have it for a long time. I'm a 5 foot 18 year old girl that grew up in vermont and I love my truck.Sep 30, 2011

It is pretty quick when you want it to be. It handles like any old truck: it is a pain to park and does not turn on a dime. It was built to last and has a slight squeak from the front left spring coming out of alignment when i hit a pothole. Like any old truck, it needs work but is dependable anyway. Its appearance would be much nicer if it was original paint on my truck. It is a gas hog because it is an old V8. Maintenance is important on any older vehicle and most repairs are simple and do not require a mechanic because things were simpler back then without any electronic parts. It is extremely fun to drive because it is quick and loud. This truck is a keeper and i plan to have it for a LONG time.Sep 14, 2010

i didnt like that is wasnt 4x4 but it out muddbogged 2 toyota tacoma 4x4s and a ranger 4x4 offroad. it had no get up and go cause of the 1 95 ration rear end but once it got to speed it flew like a rocket and i absolutly loved the 350 smallblock that it had!!!!Nov 10, 2009

Old faithful is the best way to describe my truck, it has always gotten me where I am going. This was my wifes and my first major purchase when we got married in May 1983. We ordered it direct from the factory exactly like we wanted, and received it in September of 1983. I have recently put a new engine in it and the transmission has been rebuilt, I have also installed a 4" lift and 9000 lb Warn winch since it was purchased.Feb 08, 2009

Awesome truck good braking, awesome acceleration pretty good handeling under 120 amazing handeling after it. good and super solid fun to drive and crazy to race. Not many repairs after re-built. Nice interior single cab with bench seat and very comfortable to drive short distances, get alittle sketch after long stretches. Not the best mileage bout 18-19 mpg.Aug 21, 2008

my truck is the best truck on the road!!! acceleration?? who needs it. this thing will steel your heart the moment you see it!! its brakes are totally AMAZING and it handles like a cadillac and purrs like a kitten. it has no mechanical defects. the exterior is midnight black with red pinstriping on the sides and on the hood. the interior is blue and has a really sweet cracked dash board-hey who really needs a new dash anyway!! GAS MILEAGE???? WHO NEEDS IT-your in a BEAUTIFUL truck that everyone loves!! basically-this is a maintenance free vehicle!!doesnt get any better than that!!!
this truck is a BLAST to drive-no air conditioning means you can roll down the windows and feel the air rushing through your hair like your in a convertible. i would definitely recommend my vehicle to someone!!!Jul 01, 2008

It was an over all good truck, wasnt built for highway use, it was good to get from point A to point B and through the trails. 6" lift and 35" tires couldnt get any better.Jan 29, 2008

It's a 1984 GMC C1500 it has 99740 original miles on a 4.1L inline six. and a 3speed on the trees. it runs great and after alittle suspencion works it rides really nice. it's sollid and a relable truckJan 10, 2008
