My fuel injected 5.0 in my cown vic loses power as I push the throttle and when I am slowing down going up to a stop it wants to die. If it's in park and I rev it up as it comes down in rpms it does. The shop said they did a full tune up. Plugs,wires,distributer cap,fuel filter. I'm just going to try to figure it out. I think it's a sensor of some sort. Anything helps thank you.
I have an 84 Ltd Crown Victoria. Changed the fuel pump and fuse I'm still not getting any power to the fuel pump.
On my alternator there is a single wire that isn't bolted on when left off car runs perfectly but leaves the amp light on but when I plug the wire onto the bolt that it goes to car tries to start but stumbles and dies now I haven't left running more then just a few minutes at a time because I don't know if it will affect the charging capability of the alternator if continuous use happens can't find an answer to this any help
My throttle body is cracked where the fuel line attachment screws into the throttle body on the inlet pressure side is there a way to seal this crack would hate to have to buy a whole new piece seeing as how it cost more then $500 just to be clear the fuel line and the attachment IS NOT CRACKED the crack is on the throttle body itself
It has the 302 engine which I have no problem starting when cold but after it's been running for a while I have to keep the accelerator depressed when stopping at a red light or else the engine dies down. The idle seems to be dropping too low. I've already checked all filters, fuel lines, fuel pump and spark plugs.
