Without a shadow of doubt, the worst car I've ever driven. It has no redeeming features, beyond making it to 200 000kms - a miracle in itself that anyone could drive so many Km's in one. How can a car that weighs so much feel so tinny? It's a four door saloon, with doors fashioned from old coke cans. The 2 litre engine, whilst tough enough, is only good for purposefully inducing back-fires for a laugh. It is the furthest from the word "refined" as you're likely to get, and provides the car with a 0 - 100kmh sprint that can be recorded with a calendar. Equipment levels are reasonable for the late '70s - crap for any other time period. Suspension is seemingly dispensed with and replaced with blocks of wood, and the steering wheel has some vague connection to the direction of travel - but I'm not quite sure how. Even after all that, fuel consumption is horrendous for a 4 cylinder, and you'll just wish you'd never bought the thing.Jun 19, 2008
