Rare 1981 Dodge Mirada CMX (graphic red) with faux cabriolet top, loaded; Ivory leather and burgundy interior and 318 V8. Manufacture date Oct 1980. Low CMX production run of 1,683 that year. Total 1980-83 production less than 53,000 units Sticker price $10,927 sold for $8,500 on March 12, 1981. Current mileage 150,000 and in good running order. Absolutely no one (under 40) knows what Make or model of car this is. It provokes a lot of admiring stares and "thumbs-up" gestures and a myriad of questions in parking lots and gas stations. People are shocked that it is 32 years old. And except for 2 rear bumper moldings, 100% unrestored, un-rebuilt original.Jun 28, 2013

This is one of 1,683 CMX models built that year, and now is probably only one of a handful surviving. It remains in all original condition, with ivory leather and burgundy interior. It still runs smoothly with 150K miles, but braking, handling and acceleration remain relics of another era.
