Bought this car a week ago 79,000 original miles. Got it home...went to drive it no start, sprayed starting fluid in carb and started right up. 4 more times not start after driving somewhere n parking it, but eventually it started. Today drove it 3 miles parked for an hour tried to start..no start. Tried starting fluid no start...acts like it's not getting spark...what do I do now...I'm 17 and this is my first car...ugh getting frustrated
I own a 1979 Toyota corona LE, my hazard lights, horn, and the windshield sprayer will not work, however when it comes to my turning signals they work just fine, provided I don't leave the hazard lights on. I have Already checked all the fuses, the connections and grounds but to no avail. I even went so far as to Replace the steering part of it where it controls all of the above problems Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
I have a 1979 Toyota Corona. I have no power going to the fuel pump. Pump has been tested and works with direct power.I replaced the fuel pump relay but still no power at the fuel pump. Any ideas?
My grandson's car is a 1979 Toyota corona. Today we filled up the gas take and on his way home gas was squirting out of the gas cap , once the cap was opened gas continued to flow out? What would cause this? He has had the problem of it not starting at times after he has driven it even just a short distance. Could these issues be related?
