1978 FIAT 128 Reviews, Pricing & Specs

This was my first car, it was 16 years old and had just 32k on the clock and 1 elderly owner, dont think it had ever done over 30mph. This car was an absolute hoot, very revvy lively engine sweet handling and a great ride with the comfiest seats of any car i have ever owned, and i have owned a few. This was from an era when fiat made the best small cars in the world that were more fun than anything made today. Ok, they were'nt exactly german build quality and it was no ferrari to look at. i had to replace all 4 wheel bearings, strip and rebuild the brakes (more than once) and have a new head gasket and admit i sold it when i got an mot advisory list as long as your arm. But who cares about that, perhaps I am being a little romantic, after all this was my first car, it carried me to more concerts and great nights out than i can remember, and even met my wife to be when i owned it(she loved it as much as me) but in the nearly 40k i covered in it i always loved it and if 1 came up for sale that hadn't crumbled to orange dust and i thought i could afford to run it i wouldn't hesitate to have it.
