Beautiful car inside and out. Nice leather trim with a huge old-fashioned wooden steering wheel. Painted in Ferrari red by my friend's husband, it was a head-turner. I added Koni shocks, new top, new brakes, carpet and transmission, but never got around to the engine before I sold it. It was a lot of fun to ticker with. Mar 26, 2010

Nice looks but lacking horsepower. Would have been nice if the stuck a Ford 302 in it. Handled well. Drop top fun! Nice wood dash. Fix it again Tony.And again and again and again and again and again and again.Jan 29, 2009

The 124 Spider is a beautiful, nicely appointed sports car with wonderful Italian flair, decent performance, a terrific exhaust note and better reliability than Fiat gets credit forJan 10, 2008

looking for someone to restore a 1978 Fiat Spider in NC/SC
I have a 1978 124 Spider that is running, but needs some body work, some mechanical work, new gas tank and other upgrades to restore it. Not looking for a "show" car, but a weekend/occasional parade car.

why won't my engine turn?
my fuel pump went out on my 78 spider, (fuel got into my oil), I replaced it and flushed out oil 3 times and on the 3rd I tried starting it and it just froze up, it wouldnt even turn.. any ideas?

brake fluid level and filler cap
Cap of brake fluid chamberis a diaphragm and a two wire connection. How do your use the diaphagm to check on fluid leved, and what do the two wires connct to-- Is there a warning light somewhere is level gets too low? Any information on this setup would be appreciated, especially what level to keep fluid in the chamber. Thank you very much. F L Tabrah Honolulu
