Eat up any small block V-8 in the 1/4 mile. Bad on head gaskets. Finally prefected with the introduction of the Grand National in 1984. It's a great "sleeper", most people get caught off guard, thinking it's grandma's grocery getter.Apr 11, 2011

Its got a little pep to its step, not a supercar by any means, but it'll go. Doesn't handle all that well (yet). The stock springs are like pudding, and it tends to feel like you're about to capsize when you take a hard corner at high speed. One must realize that these cars were designed to flex and be squishy... back in the 70's, engineers actually thought it would be a good idea to make the frames flex in the name of a "floaty and comfortable" ride. Cocaine is a hell of a drug. It actually gets better gas mileage in the city than on the highway, by my calculations (about 17-13 hwy, depending on how hard you push it, and 25 in the city). The thing that I'm drawn to is its character, and the fact that its something so overlooked, but with so much potential. Dec 06, 2010
