Like: Not being able to hear yourself think when driving, haha; the overall body style; the wheels; swivel bucket seats; the fuel economy gauge
Dislike: Not being able to find parts; the transmission that's on it's way out; the ugly front end; the huge bumpers
It's a blast to drive, and I don't know what the gas mileage is because I don't drive it for gas mileage.Jan 29, 2009

Great fun Classic. Cool pick-up/car..they don't make them like this anymore, rear wheel drive, v8, automatic. Great performance and gas mileage for a 31 year old vehicle. Not too many of the 73-77 left around anymore. Nice summertime cruiser, lots of comments, too bad GM doesnt build anymore.Aug 13, 2008

I had 1977 El Camino for 10 years, suspension started to need lots of
repair's. So I got a 1990 F250 club cab 4X4, stripped cab and box off, had
frame shortened by 30". Then I removed front and rear suspension on El
Camino and bolted the two frames together, lined up great. So far I only
have 2wd, have not installed transfer case yet. Still does not get stuck.Dec 26, 2007
