My TD Cortina is a bit of a weapon. She runs a 2502V with a holley carb and manifold, tuned length extractors, limited slip diff and a top loader gearbox. Although the subframe and panels are totally rusted, it makes a great burnout machine as it churns the rubber in all four gears! The motor has bearly been run in and runs a big cam, over-sized bore and worked head. Interior is nice original condition, minus the steering wheel and racing seats. It could do with a brake upgrade now that it has more power, but the suspension is nice and firm and handles like a go kart! Best of all, this is the most appealing body shape of all the cortina's with it's rounded body lines and wide rear arches. I would reccomend one of these to anyone - you cannot beat "bang for you buck" with classic lines and the smell of fuel and viny!Jun 06, 2009

Really a truly fun car to drive, totally inexplicable, if you are into older cars you must drive a decent 6 cylinder cortina before you die.May 11, 2008

The 1975 Ford Cortina is the greatest car ever built... although i may be somewhat biased due to the fact that i have owned 3 of them. The pick of he model line up (and my current ride) is the Australian available only, Six Cylinder Cortina. The only problem i have had is in the handling department. the car has a slight tendancy to understeer due to the extra weight of the 4.1 ltr Straight Six, but this can be avoided by liberal application of the accelerator thus inducing Oversteer :)Jan 19, 2008
