I just got this 1975 corvette in my divorce. I need to sale it but don't know the value. 4 spped 350 small block. good runner and looker. interiot a little rough. can anyone help???

The 1975 Chevrolet Corvette is remembered for having the last available convertible until they were reintroduced to the line in 1986. Other major changes included catalytic converters being installed in every 1975 Corvette.
In engine news, 1975 was the first year since 1964 that only one engine displacement size was available: the small-block 350-ci. The engine was available as a 123 kW with 165 horsepower or a 153 kW capable of 205 horsepower.

I own a 75 vett and they are not as cheap as some would say vary underestimated year because it was the year that was the most underpowered vett thay had putting out somewhere around 185 hours power haw ever u do not need to smog that year so you cane make it put out as much horses as you can afford or have the no haw and new Motors ARE a lot more powerful than the old ones any way my vett is not perfect but living in California I will not sale my vett less than 49000 probably only worth 17000 but this one is my vett and some Tims it worth what you can sale it for butt some times its worth wate u would take for it what it is worth to you thay do not make them like thay used to and I got more compliments on my car then any car I ever had people always compliment me on it and take pictures of it constantly thumbs up as Im driving not a day goes by I drive it dont get a compliment and if you want what its worth hold on to it you will regret it in the future if you dont Jul 13, 2022

love the overall look, motor sounds great and shifts smoothly, nice ride on the highway. i have to fix the signals, lights, wipers, passenger window, and it definitely needs a new paint job. i am pleased with the price and overall experience so far.Oct 27, 2012

its 36 years old) driving it is great gas mileage is about 8mpg and its a stingray it

Nice entry Level Corvette. I went with black Imron and had the Pewter leather all power options. Had a shift kit automatic trans.
Add a crate motor or a stroker but keep it if you do Can easily exceed actual value Vette parts are not cheap. Check the frame carefully for rust rot. Apr 18, 2011

I have just purchased an L82 4 speed, having owned a 78 & 79 in the past ( both auto) this is the best of the three.
They look timeless ( park next to a Ferrari, Lamborghini, maserati) & they still look at the old C3 shark the best looking car in the world period.
It has everything looks to die for a big V8 & yet easy to work on & although not cheap comparitivly speaking reasonable costs to maintain.If i won the lottery I would still be driving a C3 Feb 25, 2010

The 427 Small Block V8 is a marvel of automotive engineering.
The perfect upkeep since it was purchased brand new from
the dealer made the car a perfect show car. This also happens

Performance- has a olsmobile 350 that flies.
Build Quality- it needed a few repairs, but its finished now.
Appearance- its a t-top convertable, paint is yellow.
Cost of ownership- gas=9mpg, about 2 grand

Performance - Handles well but a gutless wonder.
Build Quality - Start digging into the fiberglass work and you have to ask: Was GM outsourcing to China in 1975?
Appearance - Dead Sexy...
Cost of Ownership - Right!!! We'll talk later :-)
Fun Factor - permanent grease under the finger nails and bloody knuckles makes for a great weekend.

350 small block fully rebuilt, drives a great car :) turns heads all the time, it sounds fantastic and goes like a cut snake.

This car does need some work. For its age, I suppose it's in decent shape. It does have t-tops, which leak in the rain, it lacks a firewall between the engine compartment and the footspace in the 'cockpit'. It's temperamental, needs a mag starter... the engine heats the regular starter too much, and it has to cool down again before it will fire up.
It's missing a motor in the driver's side window, and the seal around the windshield is heavily degraded. The vacuum canisters for opening the headlights are shot. She dogtracks like crazy on the open road.
But you know what? This is the most amazing car I've ever driven. It was made for a purpose, and here over thirty years later, I can still tell. It is simple compared to today's new cars, but it has more spirit. This baby gets up and roars, and I LOVE it.May 30, 2009

Original performance is rather bleak... Due to liberal states such as California The auto industry was extreamly limited as to the performance in their cars in the 70's. Luckilly not superior engineering has overcome this...and we can also get aftermarket "off road" use only engines :-DMay 14, 2009

I have a 75 Corvette convertible and just love it. It is as solid and reliable as anything. Despite having a relatively low horsepower rating (a combination of new rating system and smog and other compliance measures)the car flies. It has mnore than enough power for me and is a real headturner. It has electronic ignition and was the first of the unleaded petrol Corvettes. Oct 15, 2008

This car technically doesn't belong to me, although I drive it all of the time. It's my mom's, and she bought it about 20 years ago. It will flat out burn rubber. Period. In other words, if I'm driving it, don't try to have a drag race with me at the stoplight. Save yourself from the embarssment. ;). It's only real drawback is that it averages 10 mpg on premium gas. 1975 Corvette Stingray Coupe , T-Tops , auto trans. , Original 8 in. Rallyes , 350 L-82 Engine with 55,000 original miles , Headers , new high performance distributer and cables, new Edelbrock alluminum intake, high performane Edelbrock carb. , Performance Cam , new fuel pump, new water pump, new front wheel bearings, high performance air filter, new interior (rare original silver color), new floor mats, painted a couple years ago (excellent exterior), new chrome side pipes, new brake booster and master cylinder. Runs Great (new carb still might need some adjustment b/c only couple months old) but runs excellent on the high end and good to great on the low. I just think the carb could offer more to the performance of the car if it was adjusted again.Dec 30, 2007

A 1975 C3 is a Bad example of a good (past) car. If you can find a cheap, clean, 75 with less than 100k, they are good drivers if you keep them up. You gotta love those Coke-bottle girlish obvious female inspired lines even with the urathane bumpers, it's still a Stingray.Oct 12, 2006
