Performance - 400 Big Block with Edelbrock carburetor, intake manifold, and camshaft.
Build Quality - Had a vacuum leak for a while that made the truck turn off when I hit 1200 RPM. But everything else worked.
Appearance- It had a good amount of rust on the bottom of the front fenders but the paint is original and it had aggressive tires on it.
Cost of Ownership - Really bad on gas because it had Full time 4x4
Fun Factor - really good in the snow and mud.Jun 29, 2011

The truck is actually a 1974 Dodge W100 or Powerwagon.
It had a 400 cid Big Block with a Edelbrock cam and carburetor and glass pack exhaust. Also that it was in full time 4x4 with 32 inch Super Swamper. It only had rust behind the front tires on the front quarter panels and the wood on the flat bed was new. It only cost us $700 and it had about 12 miles to the gallon which is decent for what it is.Sep 26, 2010

The Truck is really a 1974 Dodge W200 Power Wagon. It has a 318 V8 727 AT tranny and a Dana 44 in the front and a Dana 60 in the rear, with 4.10 Gears. It has the factory 1 ton susp. The tranny has been pushing snow since it roled out of the factroy. We have used the crap out of this truck. We just cant seem to kill it!Dec 06, 2009

My 74 Dodge pickup was in mint condition when I bought it . It was disassembled right to the frame and totoally rebuilt with a customizes style . Doing the work is so rewarding as you see it develope . It becomes an obsession the farther you get into the build . One idea is in my head then I seeit in another light and go in that direction .
Overall I'm pretty happy with the outcome .Aug 09, 2008

Yes, this is another project. Unlike my Vette & Javelins, this one does run, but also needs major work. I intend to restore/customize this truck to be the car hauler for my business that I am starting when I finish school.May 02, 2008
