This is my 1973 TC Cortina. Although the motor is not in the car yet, I can verify that she will absolutely hammer! A late model 302 Windsor is ready to drop in, with a mustang 5 speed attached. I found this local car on a farm, beneath about five foot of grass. I dragged it out and began stripping the engine bay and interior. It has one of the best bodies I have seen (only one very small dent on the left hand front guard, otherwise gun barrel straight) and the front guards had never been removed untill now! It has one small rust hole at the bottom corner of each front sill at the base of the firewall; typical of this model as there is no escape for water in the engine bay/firewall corners. It is a factory six cylinder manual GXL, which is the top of the range, later called the Ghia. Body is nearly ready to paint and then the roll cage, etc goes in. This will be set up for tarmac rally events by the time I have finished!Jun 06, 2009
