I LOVE that I found one....and a 2 door to boot! Very popular in SCCA racing...handle like crazy...still can find these at the track today...so many have been built into race cars...mine is still mostly all original...can't wait to get this one back on the road/ track.Apr 18, 2015

Its so much fun and it has great character about it. It is for sure a project car as there are many problems with it, especially from the previous owner, but it is super easy to work on. It handles like a go kart and never fails to get a comment or someones look.
With the stock L16 engine, it is not fast by any means, but for having only 92 HP it can for sure keep up with traffic. I'm sure its faster than a Prius at least! The best part is it's handling though since it is so light.

In my mind everyone should learn how to work on a car. This was my first car I loved it and it was easy to work on. Fun to drive it was RWD and had independant rear suspension. Came in a two door or 4 door...i had the 4 door...if you ever have the chance to own one of these cars do it...you wont be sorryNov 18, 2010

sr20det motor swap so the fun factor is definitely there.
suspension and brakes upgraded to deal with the power, but need to find a way to create a fsb, or just buy an expensive one to stop front end squirmApr 08, 2010

Awesome vintage jap rally car, going jdm/bre styling with a ka24de, its gonna be awesome. Its a true, raw race car hidden under a family sedan. There is no power steering and there is not much room for rear seats with a rollcage, even though I have a four door, but its nice and small, thats the way I like them. Thats all I have 2 say.May 28, 2009

green machine best car I ever owned. First new car - replaced a beat up VW. Fast (for then) It was a great rally car. Sold it and it went on to a great career in SCCA Pro Rally circuit.
With am/fm radio it tipped the piggy bank at $2100.
Would have bought a 240Z, but the insurance would have killed me!
Pros: the best Japanese car ever
Cons: it's biodegradeable - maybe that's good. It was 30 years ahead of its time!Jul 25, 2008

$25000, 3 years later and it is still not running. Hopefully I will get to enjoy it, some year. Should make about 350whp when its running, on a 2100lb car.Jul 09, 2008
