1972 Chevrolet Blazer Preview summaryImage

The 1972 Blazer was the last of the first generation of Chevy Blazers. The truck/SUV-predecessor remained available as a rear- or all-wheel drive. The K5 had a short wheelbase which, when combined with the all-wheel drive, made for a fun off-road vehicle.

The base engine remained a 4.1-liter, 250-ci inline 6, while the optional engines were a 5.0-liter, 307-ci V8 and a 5.7-liter, 350-ci V8.

Those wanting to restore one of these trucks can still find many of them in good condition. Ample available parts make these trucks excellent candidates for restoration.

Couldn't ask for a better truck to have as a play toy. The full removable top was awesome and with the sway bars removed it did exceptionally well off-road.Jun 11, 2008
