1969 Mercedes 220
I have a 69 Mercedes 220 with a bad engine. Is there a different engine that could be swapped for original? What would that car as is be worth? Passenger side rear door needs replaced but otherwise very solid car body.

Best car ever..stylish , comfortable , nice to drive and killer looks .. old but very
reliable if driven by just 1 driver.very powerful engine , slow in initial but in high
speed .. wow.. a very fun car to drive .. love it... if u can get a hand on 1 , take itOct 03, 2011

One of my favourite cars. Wonderfully smooth ride and excellent brakes. Not bad when you consider it had 4 unassisted drums. Took 5 adults and luggage on a trip up the coast and never missed a beat. Great pulling power from the 2.2l 6 cylinder. Handled beautifully. If the tail went, just take your foot off the accelerator and it pops back into line.
