This car is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever had the pleasure of driving. The oleopneumatic suspension system offers a ride that is not only smooth, but holds the road like it is on rails! 19 years of development before the first DS every rolled off any production line in France ensured that this car would be ahead of its time for years to come. The design and safety features of the DS include the stylized turn indicators at the rear roofline, and the engine set far back from the front bumper, behind the spare tire, behind the radiator, leaving plenty of room for crumple in a front collision. The interior of the car is cozy, but spacious. I have yet to find a blindspot, and the front seats - comfortable enough to make me conteplate removing them and replacing my living room couch with them - come complete with inflatable lumbar support. The sleek lines and gorgeous curves of the DS turn heads at every traffic light. Two thumbs up for this unique piece of French history!Oct 17, 2008
