I have a spot on my nova quarter panels that looks like an emblem is suppose to be but I cant find anything listed for this. Can you tell me what may go there?

The car is an exceptional drag racing car, I admit I've driven it on roads illegally but only around the block. Ive driven it to work a few times and all my friends love it. Great chick magnet I should say. All the women love it especially my Girlfriend, she just doesnt ike it when I call Clementine by her name or call her Baby.Aug 06, 2013

Likes : the possabilities are endless with this car ...stock-daily driver ,pro tour or quartermiler... if you want attention ,don't buy a "new" car. Dislikes: for me ...none! it's a hobby of mine.i grew up with these cars! a pleasure to work on!Dec 10, 2012

its a shell for now. im gonna put brembo disk brakes all around. all AN fuel system. painless wiring system. backhalf ford 9 inch rear end. built 350 cubic inch engine pushing a muncie M21 4 speed trans. 16 inch rear drag slicks. pizza cutters in the front. 2 bucket seats inside and a banging sound system with a 12 inch and 15 inch competition subs.Jul 08, 2011

Performance-Being built to run mid 8's in the 1/4 1100-1200 hp w/N2o.
Quality- Unfinished but everything has or will be replaced.
Cost- too much
Fun- It will absolutely put you in your seat.

It has a 355 small block with 500 hp. It runs around 6.50 at 102 mph in the 1/8 mile. Its a really good race car that me and my dad built together. I love the car with all my heart i guess you could say lol! Sep 13, 2010

i loved the color it hugger orange with a hint of red added. the 350 in it had plenty of power but woud have loved to big block it. had black interior. crager 3.5 skinnies on the front and 50's on the back.Jun 28, 2010

This latest car of mine came from Arizona last year , used to be a drag car but
bringing back to street form , putting in 396 big block this year and new disc brakes
and suspension , then off to the street , nothing like big block power!!!!

this car has good acceleration and braking,
handling is not bad but also is not the best. It is a
little old and needs some restoring but nothing a
little time and money can't fix. The appearance is
stunning because it is not something you see every
day. little down fall is with a V8 sucks up gas but it
is worth it in the long run because it is very fun to

It was built to go fast in a straight line but not to good in the corners. It does 10.80's in the quarter mile and go from a dead stop to 60 ft. in 1.66 seconds. Is that fast eough for ya.Oct 19, 2009

Performance, build quality, and appearance don't exist yet. I was hit head-on by a drunk in this car so it is totaled. I have so far removed the front sheet metal/bumper/etc... Also removed the motor/trans, exhaust, and disassembled most of the interior. I hope to either install a trick 307 or a turbo LSx motor soon, as well as a LOT of high-perf goodies! I have driven my car on relatively short drives,it has performed flawlessly,but I have yet to really lean on it.Some small details need to be addressed before I can really lean on it,plus I have to swap the present engine for a new,more powerfull one(548C.i./aprox 750-800H.P.,dynoed at 865 but I have a slightly smaller cam in it)I hope to have it at the track soon,but my procrastination + divergence of funds sometimes hampers completion.Jul 05, 2008

My car is failing the Carbon Monoxide Loading portion on the State Emissions test.
My '69 Nova has about 60,000 on it's 350 V8. It has an Edelbrock 600CFM carb, which passes really low on the Carbon Monoxide idle test. I don't understand how one test could be very low and the other be very high. My inclination is to go back to work on the carburetor. But perhaps the timing needs to be retarded a few degrees? Just a point in the right direction would help me. This is a California car that I'm trying to get to pass Arizona Emissions. Thanks. By the way- already tried the parts store "Guaranteed emissions pass" pour in the gas tank solution and higher octane fuel. Put a new K&N air filter on it and checked the plugs. They look clean. The oil was recently changed as well
