Dash lights
I have a 1968 ford truck f100 on the dash there r 5 lights to light up the dash, the top 3 I can't get them to work, the bottom two works. R the top 3on a different fuse? Or can I cut the wires make a jumper to one that works.

Lots of power from the 390 V8. 4 speed trans works perfectly. Cassette stereo upgrade is sweet. Long bench seat has a great feel to it. Fires up every time, very reliable. Not loving the MPG's, but definitely Fun to drive. Mar 12, 2015

This was a great old truck. It was had nice paint scheme-burgundy and white and came with the nifty side compartment in the bed to store junk in like jumper cables and car jack. Easy to see out of that huge windshield. Feb 19, 2013

Great truck with plenty of power.
No power brakes, power steering, or A/C to worry about.
The 390 V8 provides plenty of horsepower but only gets 10MPG all the time!!
Fun to drive!!
Family owned since 1968!
Plenty of room in the bad to haul anything and not worry about scratching or denting =0)Jul 13, 2011

there is nothing like a 5.0 ford,u got power,performance,fuel economy for now a days.stock drum brakes,will up grade soon.for an old truck go very little rust,will paint soon.very little maintenance its got points ,its mechanical nothing electrical.this lil'truck is fun to drive.Built Ford Tuffff.Jul 30, 2010

Ok, first of all this is not a review for a 68' F-100. This is a review for a 68' F-600. The 1968 F-600 is a work horse, mine came with an industrial 390ci engine w/an oil bath breather instead of an air filter. This truck also comes with the Ford version of the SM425 4 speed Transmission and a dually axle with a solenoid for changing the ratio of the axle gears from "work'n out on the farm" to "Running down the highway to the market".
I drove this truck as a daily driver for 7 months and loved every trip I made no matter the distance. Oh and it pulls like a train.Oct 21, 2009

68 ford f100 won't start?
My 68 ford f100 won't start. I drove it to work and back one day no problems, then second day I made it to work but wouldn't start when going home. Same thing happened few days later... drove it to work and home then next morning got gas and wouldn't start. New battery. New carb back in December. Moved from GA to OH end of December. Someone suggested carburetor needs adjusted? Someone else said fuel pump?
