1967 Shelby Cobra Reviews, Pricing & Specs

Once again, this application does not offer a "rode in" category, but again, that's all I did. The car in question is my Uncle's 1967 AC Cobra. It's not a real Cobra, but a replica by ERA. It was a kit car that my Uncle bought for $75,000 roughly and built himself. It has 550 horsepower and 550 lbs-ft of torque courtesy of a 428 Ford big block and 5-speed manual transmission. Also, the car is for sale for sixty grand right now, and my Uncle will be starting work on a 1967 Corvette coupe. The car rode quite smooth and the interior was comfortable. The interior features waterproof upholstery, a heater, and a Clarion CD player. It also features NASCAR approved five-point racing harnesses. In the even of an accident, you are not going anywhere. The car is beautiful, black with gold racing stripes, black leather seats, and a real wood steering wheel. The Clarion sound system consists of four speakers mounted inside the car, and an amp in the trunk. It is also very loud, and when at lower speeds it tends to backfire a lot. On the highway, the engine was so loud that I could not hear Meat Loaf on the radio. Apr 13, 2008
