Convertible, 2 Door, 2 Seat, Front Engine, Rear Wheel Drive, 4 Speed Manual Gearbox, 160 mph Top Speed, 4.2 sec 0-60, 10.2 sec 0-100, V8, 485 Brake Horse Power at 6500 rpm, 480lb/ft at 3700 rpm and its very lightweight at 2530 lbs

It's a classic. Obviously, who hasn't heard of this one. Performance: straight-line, don't go turning. Never cheap to own old cars. But, if you want to go fast, it's cool. Whatever, I'm just trying to shut this thing up. so be quiet already you stupid required stuff!!!Sep 16, 2009

it hasn´t nedeed reairs is the best machine i´ve ever seen before...its acceleration is strong and no one can beat it. its a very fun car to drive i can do it all the day gas mileage is not expensive.Jan 20, 2009

the horse power under the hood when your trying to pass a transport truck on the highway any the exhaust and the amazing thing is that to this day it still runs like a dream in the winter she tends to give me a bit of trouble but over all i love my car.Aug 01, 2008

Once again, this application does not offer a "rode in" category, but again, that's all I did. The car in question is my Uncle's 1967 AC Cobra. It's not a real Cobra, but a replica by ERA. It was a kit car that my Uncle bought for $75,000 roughly and built himself. It has 550 horsepower and 550 lbs-ft of torque courtesy of a 428 Ford big block and 5-speed manual transmission. Also, the car is for sale for sixty grand right now, and my Uncle will be starting work on a 1967 Corvette coupe. The car rode quite smooth and the interior was comfortable. The interior features waterproof upholstery, a heater, and a Clarion CD player. It also features NASCAR approved five-point racing harnesses. In the even of an accident, you are not going anywhere. The car is beautiful, black with gold racing stripes, black leather seats, and a real wood steering wheel. The Clarion sound system consists of four speakers mounted inside the car, and an amp in the trunk. It is also very loud, and when at lower speeds it tends to backfire a lot. This is a 2006 Shelby GT-H that I rented from Hertz in Orlando, Florida. The Car was so cool and people commented the Car even as we waited for green light. A lot of thumbs-up and waiving and shouting. The best Rental ever.Feb 23, 2008

Where can I get reliable maintenance/engine work done on a 1967 Shelby Cobra replica?
I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Does anyone know or a reliable mechanic for this kind of vehicle? I took it to a mechanic that was going to improve my driving experience by installing fuel injection as well as just clean things up for me (the vehicle was built by someone that didn't have much car experience, but at least it ran). After being stored for the winter and then having a handful of runs with it, it won't even start now. Any suggestions?
