1966 Ford Bronco Preview summaryImage

The 1966 Ford Bronco was a small SUV designed to compete with the Jeep Wrangler and International Harvester Scout. It was created for ruggedness rather than for style, and helped to set a precedent for its brand.

The standard engine was a 170-ci I6, and passengers sat in Jeep-like bucket seats.

This particular model was only produced from 1966 to 1968. It is referred to as a Bronco "Roadster" and came with no top originally. Mine was one of the first produced in August of 1965. I am keeping it stock.Mar 22, 2009

Here's another workhorse! This Bronc towed our 24 ft. command bridge boat around, all over the place! Also, it took it us all the way to California and back and had a blast with it in the sandpit!! It would beat every other make and model imaginable!! LOVED IT! Soooo fun to drive!!Feb 08, 2009
